The dock of Porta Ticinese in Milano (Italy), also known as the “Darsena”, in a 1964 postcard. Its basin collects water from the Naviglio Grande canal and feeds the Naviglio Pavese canal. Built in 1603 by the Spanish government, the “darsena” was used as freight dock until 1979.
